Truth about Sex in Bible Debated by Inkaboutit Reply

THE TRUTH ABOUT SEX

By Paul Fox    (with extra notes from http://inkaboutit4u.com

https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/ChristProErotic/conversations/messages/3914

Sex is not evil. In fact biblical sex can be a beautiful thing. There is so much misinformation about what the Bible does and does not say about sex that I feel compelled to write this article setting straight what the Bible actually says about this subject. Much of what many believe the Bible says about sex are actually the traditions  of men and not Biblical precepts at all.

The primary aim of Biblical laws about sex is threefold. First: to preserve a woman's virginity for her husband. Second: to protect  marital rights. And third: to insure reproduction and propagation of mankind. As a rule any act that does not transgress one of those three concerns is not forbidden by the Bible (there are a few exceptions).

****Note from Inkaboutit****(1)father got lot more money if his daughter is sold as a virgin then not. (Lot was going to let a gang of guys have sex with his daughters.)  (2) Fathers and husbands and slave,  owners had authority and control over his owned  women. (Adultery was the violation of man ownership rights over his owned women.)

God’s punishment on women, was that man would rule over them. (3)sex rules about sex freedom to not cause major conflicts in relationships or major offense in close relationships. Most all the sex laws in Lev 18 are so you do not offend or cause a conflict with a close relation. In other words don’t assume it is ok to use your male authority over women and have sex with them with out making sure it will not cause a conflict with another’s who is a close relation and cause great family disharmony as a results.

But if it does not cause a conflict and it is ok with the other person then it is ok. Most every verse reflects feeling of another person as for the reason why not to have sex with the women, but if it does not cause the conflict then there is no problem go ahead.

Ex. Do not violate your father by” or “for this would violate your father.” what if it does not bother your father? Or your father is not offense over it, and then it is ok. What if it ok with your father?  Then it is ok to do it.

Remember the context they are living in tents with no private and every one know about it. Today we live in private homes and if it did not cause a problem then it is ok. But if the father is offended then don’t do it because it would cause great disharmony in the close family unit. What if the wife said that the son have sexual needs and she could meet them and the husband tells her it is ok, then there is no violation at all and no conflict at all. ***********************

In fact the Bible has a whole book about sexuality! The Song of Songs (Also called Song of Solomon) is extremely erotic, but it's written In symbolism so a lot of people miss it. For instance, the use of "fruit" usually refers to the man's genitals, and "garden" to the woman's. God's word on sex is "Eat, O friends, and drink; drink your fill, O lovers." (SoS 5:1)

****Note from Inkaboutit****(SOS is about single virgin women with 2 lovers. She has oral sex and nude dates with both her lovers. She is never married in SOS. She is still a virgin at the end of SOS because father make more money selling there daughters as a virgin. She wishes her 2 lovers were her brothers so she could keep making love to them all night and all day  long and they would not have to leave her house.

Jewish women  would have lot of oral sex and sometimes anal sex, to avoid vagina sex and avoid breaking there hymen so there father sold them as a virgin and get more money.*****************

The Mosaic Law requires that a man not withold "conjugal rights" from his wife even if he takes other wives (Ex. 21:10).

****Note from Inkaboutit****(Ex 21:10 If he himself marries her and then takes another wife, he may not reduce her food or clothing or fail to sleep with her as his wife. 11 If he fails in any of these three ways, she may leave as a free woman without making any payment.

This verse shows that sex is as important as food and clothing needs. People want to say you can live without sex but you can not live with out food. The this verse give them equal value, equal importance’s.**********

Moreover the Law Exempts a new husband from military service for a full year so he May "bring joy to his wife" (Deut. 24:5). In the Song of Songs Solomon writes of his lover "How fair and how pleasant are you, o Love, for delights!" to which his lover responds "I am my beloved's and his desire is toward me." (SoS 7:7, 11) The Hebrew word for "desire" here is T'SHUKAH (Strong's 8669) and comes from the root word SHUK (Strong's 7783) meaning "to overflow; to be wet". This is the same word in Gen. 3:16 where woman is told that her "desire" would be for her husband.

There is more freedom than restrictions especially for married couples. If Elohim doesn't prohibit something and it's acceptable to both people, then Elohim gives a green light and says, "Enjoy yourselves!"

If you read the Song of Songs, you can see that God encourages us to enjoy His gift of sex in all its fulfillment.

WHAT ABOUT EXTRAMARITAL SEX?

There is a misconception that the Bible forbids extramarital sex. This is a not true. Nowhere does the Bible forbid two unmarried people from having sex. The Bible does address the issue of the man that has sex with a virgin female to whom he is not married and says that such a man must pay a dowry to the father and offer to marry the girl (Ex. 22:16-17; Deut. 22:28-29).

****Note from Inkaboutit****SOS she was a virgin and had oral sex and maybe anal sex but no vaginal sex, her hymen was not broken as it was near the end of SOS.

****Note from Inkaboutit****SOS 6:8 shows Solomon had 60 wives and 80 concubines and he could have oral sex or anal sex with as many single women he wanted to. Remember in the Bible days Father sold virgin daughters for lot of money, then non-virgin. Had Nothing to do with moral vs. immoral,  but was about money.

Today,  virgin is not that important at all. A women can break her hymen anytime she want to, no big deal at all. With birth control and condones she can have lots of safe sex, lots of enjoyment. Different  context then  in the Bible days. *****

Solomon, the wisest man on earth and he had as much sex with as many women as he could. Solomon A married man seducing single girls. In bed nude with them having oral sex. Is 100% ok with God.  The only thing he did wrong was to help some of his pagan wives worship their pagan gods. If he told all his women to worship only God and no other gods, then that would have solved the problem. This was a major no, no. But at the time of SOS this was not the case. This happen much later on.

SOS 6:8 There may be sixty wives, all queens, and eighty concubines and unnumbered virgins available to me.

" Young Woman: SOS 8:10 "I am chaste, and I am now full breasted. And my lover is content with me.

****Note from Inkaboutit****She is still a virgin in SOS 8:10. That means she is not married. Married women have sex on the wedding day to prove they are a virgin.

In Ex 22 this man broke her hymen and had to pay for the father money loss as a results. Because he made a lot more money selling his daughter as a virgin without a broken hymen. It was a money thing,  not a moral or immoral thing.

Samson was full of the Holy Spirit and had sex with prostitutes and other women and that was not a issue at all, but when he cut his hair the Holy Spirit left him.

Judith had sex with prostitutes  and that was no problem, no sin with that at all. But it was a major sin for a women to disobey her male owner and act like a prostitute without his permission.

When Abram gave  Sarah to have sex with the 2 kings,  that was not the problem, but the (marriage) permanent sale of her to the 2 kings was a major problem.  Sex was not a sin,  but  it is adultery to have a permanent sale of your wife to the 2 kings. God greatly rewarded Abram and Sarah for doing this both times. We can loan or share our wife with many other sex partner with permission but another man takes her and marries her then that is adultery. Also Abram was a special situation with a special promise.

 ***************************************************

This is the only place the Bible addresses premarital sex. The Bible does not forbid unmarried people from engaging in sex. Married persons have rights over each other's bodies

The wife hath not power over her own body, but the husband: and likewise also the husband hath not power of his own body, but the wife. (1Cor. 7:4).

****Note from Inkaboutit****Of course people have authority over there own body, they can masturbation also as long as they meet there spouses sexual need also,  but context of this verse is reflecting that anytime a spouse wants to have sex that they should not be resisted by there spouse to satisfy all there spouse’s sexual needs.  Also the higher sex drive person should have there sexual need meet also.

The context of this text is to avoid the temptation to have sex with the 2000++ pagan temple prostitutes that daily try to seduce men and women to worship their pagan god by having sex with them to worship there pagan gods. Compare Number 25: 1-9 to 1Cor 10:8. This was Paul’s solution  to a problem that they wrote him about. We don’t have the letter they wrote Paul. We can only look at the situation of that time.

This is  not needed to give permission to share spouse with others, we had that a  long time ago. Husbands could sexually share our wife with others even before the law. Men could always have there daughters and wives have sex with others with the man’s permission.********

Prior to marriage they therefore had rights over their own bodies.

****Note from Inkaboutit****Men had authority over his owned women’s body.****

However if the girl is a virgin the man must be willing to marry her. By contrast a married person who commits adultery is (according to biblical law) guilty onto death. There is a huge difference here. A man should not spoil a virgin that he is not willing to marry.

****Note from Inkaboutit****We have different context then they did in the Bible days.

Today we have condones and birth control. They did not have these in the Bible days.

Today fathers do not sell their daughters for more money if they are virgins, as they did in the Bible days. Survey show 84% don’t carry if there bride is a virgin or not. Being a virgin or not is  big deal today as it was in the Bible days.*********

But if he is willing to marry her, the Bible does not forbid him from having sex with her. Moreover the Bible does not forbid an unmarried man from having sex with a woman who is not a virgin  because they each hold rights over their own bodies.

****Note from Inkaboutit****If a women was not a Levi daughter, not owned by a father or husband had sexual freedom similar to a man. If she wanted to make money being a prostitute that was not a sin or immoral. She was not violating any man authority. But if a father or husband  owned her then they had authority over her. They could tell her to make money being a prostitute and that would be ok as long as they were not Levi’s.

They could tell her to have sex with other men, that was ok. They could have non-pagan temple sex orgies. They could swaps wives or daughters if they wanted.

Lot could give his 2 daughter to be gang raped, if he wanted to. But he could not sell them as a virgin if he did. He would make less money selling them.*********

THE MARRIAGE BED IS UNDEFILED

Many people seem confused about what they can do or not do in bed with their own spouse. This is unfortunate. They often do not know whom to ask as they are uncomfortable asking religious leaders about such issues. Let me make this clear: Whatever your spouse any yourself do in your own bed is OK. The Bible is clear in saying:

Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge. (Hebrews 13:4)

This means anything that is done in the context of the marriage bed, which is not otherwise forbidden, is permitted.

WHAT ABOUT ORAL SEX?

There are two descriptions of oral sex in the Song of Songs. Keep in mind that in this biblical book, "garden" usually refers to the  woman's genitals, and "fruit" to the man's.

The first passage describes a woman giving oral sex to her male lover:

Like an apple tree among the trees of the forest So is my beloved among the young men In his shade I took great delight and sat down And his fruit was sweet to my taste. ...His left hand is under my head, and his right hand does embrace me. (SoS 2:3, 6)

While the second describes a man giving oral sex to his female lover:

Awake, O north wind

And come, wind of the south

Make my garden breathe out fragrance

Let its spices be wafted abroad

May my beloved come into his garden

And eat its choice fruits!

(SoS 4:16)

Oral Sex is definitely permitted by the Bible.

WHAT ABOUT ANAL SEX?

As we stated earlier the marraige bed is undefiled (Heb. 13:4). This includes anal sex. Nowhere does the Bible forbid a man from having anal sex with a woman. That which is not forbidden is permitted. As always neither partner should be compelled to engage in activity they do not wish to engage in (especially anal sex).

****Note from Inkaboutit**** Jewish women  would have lot of oral sex and sometimes anal sex, to avoid vagina sex and avoid breaking there hymen so there father sold them as a virgin and get more money.

(SOS is about single virgin women with 2 lovers. She has oral sex and nude dates with both her lovers. She is never married in SOS. She is still a virgin at the end of SOS because father make more money selling there daughter as a virgin.

She wishes her 2 lovers were her brothers so she could keep loving them all night and day  long and they would not have to leave the house.

SOS 8:1 If only you were to me like a brother, who was nursed at my mother's breasts! Then, if I found you outside, I would kiss you, and no one would despise me. 2 I would lead you and bring you to my mother's house-- she who has taught me. I would give you spiced wine to drink, the nectar of my pomegranates. 3 His left arm is under my head and his right arm embraces me.

Her mother taught her how to make love to a man.

*****************

WHAT IS ADULTERY?

As we said earlier married persons hold rights over each other's bodies. The Scripture says:

The wife hath not power over her own body, but the husband: and likewise also the husband hath not power of his own body, but the wife.  (1Cor. 7:4).

A person commits adultery if they violate their partner's rights over their body. Extramarital sex is not "adultery" unless one of the parties is married and acting without permission from their spouse.

****Note from Inkaboutit****In the Bible days man had authority over women they owned. Women did not own men.  Women did not have authority over men. In the Bible days men could have a lot of sexual freedom, but women were controlled by their male owners.

Married men did not have to ask permission to have sex with other women, but women did have to have permission by the owner.

Solomon did not have to ask his 60 wives and 80 concubine before he was trying to seduce SOS women to marry him. But the women needed Solomon permission before they could have sex with another man. But as in Ex 21:4 a man loans one of his wives to another man. This is not adultery at all. She had no say so in the matter.

God is still pro-sex, pro-nudist, pro-polygamy as he was in the OT. We did not lose any of these sexual freedoms they had in the OT. Accept there was an access of women in the OT because, when they were conquering cities they would kill all the men and keep the virgins and divide them with the men as concubines. We are not under the Law today. But nudity and sexual freedom was ours way before the law.

When they would fight, brothers would die and the other brother would have many wives and concubines.

But in the NT they were under Roman rule. Roman were fighting the wars. In the NT because they were not conquering cities and did not have an access amount of women they had fewer women to go around.

Also sometime the gov’t would make the Jews from having many wives so they don’t get too big a population and over power there rules. This was done in Egypt and maybe done in Roman rule also. God is still pro-polygamy as he was in the OT.

One woman, one man was never really God’s plan.  Even at creation it was not. God created all animals, one male and one female, and 100% of them are by God’s design and God’s built-in instinct to have many sex partners over a life time.

Both animals and humans were not designed to only have one male and one female sex partner for a lifetime. Both animals and human men and women by God instinct design desire many sex partners, just like the animal were design by God to have many sex partners. This is not evil; it is God’s design for us and for animals.

Just like the animals, human were created 100% nude and created 100% open public sex with many sex partner over a life time with no shame and no guilt and no sin.

When Adam and Eve sin,  there minds were corrupt and confused and in the confusion of sin and lies from Satan they sinned against God and put cloth on and hiding behind trees,  became shame of God’s design of nudity and sexuality in public. Nudity and sex did not become evil, just there thinking became confused and corrupt. Animal nudity and sex thinking is still the same as creation. Human only one of God’s creation that changed because of sin. Human is the only one that sinned. They are the only on e with this corrupt thinking, not the animals.

Titus 1:15

To the pure, all things are pure, but to those who are corrupted and do not believe, nothing is pure. In fact, both their minds and consciences are corrupted.

Animal never sinned against God. Animals never got this confused and corrupt think that human got.

God design as far as nudity and sexuality go, for us to be more like the animals.

The Bonobo are the closest animal design to humans design. They are 100% nude and 100% open public sex with many partners and have lots of loving sex.  They solve most all conflict and avoid stress by using loving sex with many partners.

We can learn from the Bonobo about nudity and sexuality because they never sinned against God. They never confuse there thinking with sin. They did not corrupt there thinking.

Shame and guilt over nudity and open public sex with many sex partners is a man made shame and guilt trip. God designed us to be like the Booboos from creation.

Nudity and public sex with many partners is not evil, but our corrupt thinking is evil. Also we chose to be selfish and full of jealousy. We feel we need to own one another like slaves and be selfish and jealous not sharing sex partners with each other like the Booboos.

God’s creation design, shows us clearly that God is pro-nudity, pro-sex, open and public with many sex partner, just like the Booboos. God is very pro-polygamy.

God, not Satan, makes sex and makes it a lot of fun so we would enjoy a lot playful sex time together. God’s design shows us this and shows us how God thinks.

Satan is full of lies and con Adam and Eve to eat the fruit and con them into being shame and guilt over pubic nudity and public sex. Satan shamed them to put cloth on.  God and truth did the opposite. Satan did not make nudity and open sex evil. This is a man made shame and guilt trip from lie from Satan. Man made corrupt thinking. Titus 1:15 God made and said it was pure and today man still copy Satan and said God design was not pure.

Because of that: Rom 14:14

“As one who is in the Lord Jesus, I am fully convinced that no food is unclean in itself. But if anyone regards something as unclean, then for him it is unclean. “

Because man is determine to call something a sin, and then to that person it is a sin. Not because God called it a sin but because man in his confused and corrupt thinking calls it a sin. Titus 1:15

Act 10: 13 Then a voice told him, "Get up, Peter. Kill and eat." 14 "Surely not, Lord!" Peter replied. "I have never eaten anything impure or unclean." 15 The voice spoke to him a second time, "Do not call anything impure that God has made clean."

Christ reverses Adam’s and Eve undoing. We should be living like Adam and Eve were before the fall.  More like the Booboos with public nudity and public sex with many partners with no jealousy full of love meet every one sexual need freely.

The problem is we still want to think as sinful corrupt Adam and Eve and  call sin  what God make pure, and live in man made shame and guilt over God 100% public nudity and 100% open public sex with many sex partners as God’s animal and human sexual design. We copy Sinful corrupt thinking Adam and Eve and still fall for Satan’s lies. We still full of jealousy.

Christ set us free and reversed what Adam and Eve undone. We should be back to before Adam sinned and we should have more nudity and sexual freedom with many sex partners more then they did in the OT with no shame and no guilt. We should be more like the Bonoboos using sex to solve many of our stress problems and solving many problems.

We should have sex with many sex partners in love and become more loving to one another as results. God made sex fun and loving so it would draw us together in a loving way meeting each other passionate needs in love.

Prov 30: 18 "There are three things that are too amazing for me, four that I do not understand: 19 the way of an eagle in the sky, the way of a snake on a rock, the way of a ship on the high seas, and the way of a man with a maiden.

 ***********

There are even situations where a married person may have sex with Another party without having committed adultery. First of all in biblical cases of polygamy it would appear that the husband did not commit adultery against one wife when engaging in sex with another wife.

This leads to another issue, that of the "concubine". King David had many concubines (2Sam. 5:13). It would also appear that

King David did not commit adultery when he engaged in sex with his concubines.

***Note from Inkaboutit****2 Sam 12:8

I (God) gave you his house and his wives and the kingdoms of Israel and Judah. And if that had not been enough, I would have given you much, much more.

This shows that God himself gave David many wives. And God would give David as many wives as he wanted. God is very pro-polygamy. God even force men to polygamy against their will at times.   If a man loss 6 brothers in war he would have to marry all 6 wives and make babies with them. And he would win concubine as a reward for fighting good in battle. That is very pro-polygamy. God solution to adultery is to have more wives and more sex partners, not less. Satan’s is the opposite of this.*******

Finally there are cases in the Bible by which a person  gave their spouse permission to have sex with another person. In

these cases it does not appear that the sex act was adultery. For example Sarah gave Abraham permission to have sex with Hagar:

And Sarai said unto Abram, behold now, the Lord hath restrained me from bearing: I pray thee, go in unto my maid; it may be That I may obtain children by her. And  Abram hearkened to the voice of Sarai.  (Gen. 16:2)

But Abraham did not commit adultery in doing so. In another example Rachel gave Jacob permission to have sex wit Bilhah:

And she said, Behold my maid Bilhah, go in unto her; and she shall bear upon upon my knees that I may also have children by her. (Gen. 30:3)

****Note from Inkaboutit****In both cases the man was not asking or seek permission,  but rather the women request or beg the man to have sex with the other women so they could make more babies.  In Bible days men have more authority over women then we do today. Today the worldly society gives women rights they did not have in the Bible days. God gave man authority over his wife and kids and family, but today this is taken away by the anti-god godless worldly system and the church supports this. *********

Therefore a person can give their spouse permission to have sex with another individual and no adultery is committed. This is because their spouse has power/authority over their body (1Cor. 7:4), including the power to allow them to go unto another (as in Gen. 16:2; 30:3).

Genesis 16:2  and gave her to Abram so she could bear his children. "The LORD has kept me from having any children," Sarai said to Abram. "Go and sleep with my servant. Perhaps I can have children through her." And Abram agreed.

Ge 30:3 Then Rachel told him, "Sleep with my servant, Bilhah, and she will bear children for me."

A man can give his wife permission to have sex with  another man or a woman can give her husband permission to have sex with another woman and as long as this permission is given this is not adultery.

Ex 21:4

"If his master gave him a wife while he was a slave, and they had sons or daughters, then the man will be free in the seventh year, but his wife and children will still belong to his master.

****Note from Inkaboutit****The master is only loaning his male servant one of his wives to have sex with, but when the servant leaves he has to return the masters wife and her children back to the master.  The servant was never married to the master’s wife and the master never divorced the master wife. She was never the servant wife, but only a loaner,  always the master’s owned his wife and any children his wife produced by the other man. This clearly shows that the second man never owned the masters wife.***********************

Neither party in the marriage should be pressured to give such permission, or to engage in sex with any third party. If both partners are wishing to engage in this sort of situation they may do so and have not committed adultery.

Lev. 18:20

"Moreover thou shalt not lie carnally with thy neighbour's wife, to defile yourself with her."

19 "Do not violate a woman by having sexual intercourse with her during her period of menstrual impurity. 20 "Do not defile yourself by having sexual intercourse with your neighbor's wife.

****Note from Inkaboutit****Again this is about getting permission first. Don’t have sex with neighbor wife because it will offend your neighbor wives very jealous husband and cause major conflict in the close nit neighborhood.

Read this in context with the verses before and you will see that the context is don’t have sex with this women,  because it will offend her jealous husband if you do. But what if he is not offended? What If he says it is ok? Then there is no conflict and no violation at all. What if he wants to swap wives, that is ok then.

The key is avoiding major conflict. It is like taking a man’s horse vs. borrowing a man’s horse. If you take the horse, and then they may hang you, but if you ask to borrow the man’s horse and get his permission, then it is no big deal at all. The same with sex with his wife.

But in the Bible days not during menstruation period. But today doctor tell you it is ok to have sex during menstruation period. Don’t forget they had poor dirty enviroment to live in. They were living in tents in the desert at that time. We have clean homes with bathrooms and soap and things.  ***********************

A more literal translation is:

"Moreover you shall not lie giving seed with your neighbour's wife, to be made unclean by her."

Now this verse should already have alarms going off over this  statement.

One does not simply become unclean from committing adultery. Adultery in the Mosaic Law is punishable by DEATH. The man in this passage becomes "unclean" because this is a follow up to the previous verse which forbids one from having sex with their wife "as long as she is set apart for her uncleanness" (Lev. 18:19) that is, during her menstration period. This follow up verse in Lev, 18:20  is saying that one would also become unclean from having sex with one's neighbour's wife so as to make it clear that one should not have sex with your wife, or anyone elses wife that is menstrating.

But wait... why would anyone be having sex with his neighbour's wife? Wouldn't that be adultery? Why have a passage in the Bible warning a man that he would become ritually unclean from having sex with his neighbour's wife (in her uncleaness)? Wouldn't he be guilty onto death anyway, not just unclean? This passage makes it  clear that there are situations in which a man can have sex with  "his neighbour's wife" without having committed adultery.  This is  because your neighbor can give his wife permission to have sex with you.  In the same way you can give your wife (or husband) permission to have sex with your "neighbor".

In the Song of Songs, Solomon's lover describes herself as "the lilly" (SoS 2:1) but later describes Solomon as being away from her because he has "gone down into his garden... to gather lilies" (SoS 6:1-2) these are clearly his other "wives, concubines and virgins" (SoS 6:8). The language of SoS 6:1-2 makes it clear that Solomon's lover was not upset that he was having sex with other women, presumably he had her permission.

There is no doubt that Solomon and his lover loved each other and were totally committed to each other, In fact they were almost certainly soul mates. Yet Solomon's lover  was totally OK with Solomon having sex with other women. She trusted him so much that she still felt totally secure in her relationship with Solomon saying "I am my beloved's and my beloved is mine: he feeds among the lilies" (SoS 6:3). Now this does not mean that anyone should expect their spouse to allow them to have sex with  another. It does mean that allowing ones spouse to have sex with another is no sign of a lack of love. It also means that accepting  such permission and having sex with another does not indicate a lack of love. Finally it means that both parties can engage in such activity if they so choose and remain absolutely comitted to each other.

WHAT ABOUT HOMOSEXUALITY?

The Bible is VERY clear that a man may not have sex with another man. The Bible states clearly:

Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with woman kind: it is an abomination. (Lev. 18:22)

If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, Both of them have committed an abomination: (Lev. 20:13)

It is also important to realize that God says exactly what he means. God is specific here in referring to "MANkind" not because He is careless, but because this is what He means. In fact the very next verse (Lev. 18:23) forbids a man from having sex with an animal and then adds that it is also forbidden for a woman to have sex with an animal. Since Lev. 18:23 specifies that it applies to both men and women it is clear that women are not mentioned in Lev, 18:22 because a woman is NOT forbidden to lie with another woman as she would lie with a man. That which is not forbidden is permitted. A woman is in fact permitted to lie with another woman as she would with a man.

The Bible does however forbid a woman from engaging in sex with other women to the exclusion of having sex with a man. This is addressed  by Paul who writes:

…even their women did exchange the natural use

into that which is against nature. And likewise

also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman,

burned in their lust one toward another…

(Rom. 1:25b-27a)

Here the issue is not violation of the commandment against males having sex with males (as in Lev. 18:22; 20:13) but against the commandment to engage in natural sex "being fruitful and multiplying". This passage in Romans has to do with women who forsake having sex with a man in order to engage exclusively in sex with other women. A woman who does not forsake sex with a husband does not violate the principle Paul lays down here.

WHAT ABOUT GROUP SEX?

The Bible actually tells us that group sex is acceptable. In Lev. 18:18 the Bible reads:

Neither shalt thou take a wife to her sister, to vex her, to uncover her nakedness beside the other in her life time.

The wording of this verse implies that a man should not have sex with two sisters in their life time. But the wording of the passage implies that two women that he was having sex with might be right beside each other, and THAT is not what the Bible says is wrong here.

After all if it is always wrong for a man to bring his wife to another woman to have sex with that other woman next to his wife, then why have this statement? Wouldn't it always be wrong even if it was not her sister? From this passage we can conclude that it was aparantly not always wrong, it was only wrong if the women were sisters. I want to clarify that while some translations have taken out the word "beside" the word is definitely there in the Hebrew.

The Hebrew specifies that the man has brought the wife to the sister so that one is beside the other. By implication it does not seem to be a violation for a man to bring one woman to another woman and uncover their nakedness right beside each other as long as they are not sisters (or close relatives).

Since a person may give there spouse permission to lie with another, they may also be present while this takes place right beside them. If he has permission from his wife a man may have sex with another woman while his wife is watching. At the same time a woman may have sex with another man right in front of her husband so long as her husband has granted her permission to do so. Once again the marital rights apply. Neither partner in a marriage should be pressured to engage in such activity. However if both parties wish to engage in this activity the Bible says it is OK.

CONCLUSIONS

The sexual morality laid out in the Bible is not the sexual morality that you have been taught is in the Bible. The Bible does not forbid premarital sex, oral sex or anal sex. The Bible does forbid homosexual sex between males but does not forbid women from engaging in sex with each other provided they do not forsake sexual relations with a man.

The Bible does forbid adultery. "Adultery" only occurs when a married has sexual relations with a person other than their spouse without having been permission to do so by their spouse.

If permission is given by the spouse a married man may engage in sex with another women and a married woman may engage in sex with another man or another woman. If such permission is given such sexual encounters may take the form of group sex (so long as men do not engage one another directly) or may take the form of the spouse watching the activity.

****Note from Inkaboutit****

Ex 21:10 if he himself marries her and then takes another wife, he may not reduce her food or clothing or fail to sleep with her as his wife. 11 If he fails in any of these three ways, she may leave as a free woman without making any payment.

This verse shows that sex is as important as food and clothing needs. People want to say you can live without sex but you can not live with out food. This verse give them equal value, equal important.

Remember apply to first 2 commands to Lev 18. Love God as your only God and love your neighbor as yourself.

Most every verse reflect feels of another person as for the reason why not to have sex with the women, but if it does not cause the conflict then there is no problem go ahead.

Ex. “Do not violate your father by” or “for this would violate your father.” what if it does not bother your father? Or your father is not offended over it, and then it is ok.

Remember the context they are living in tents with no privacy and every one know about it. Today we live in private homes and if it did not cause a problem then it is ok.

But if the father is offended then don’t do it because it would cause great disharmony in the close family unit. What if the wife said that the son have sexual needs and she cause meet them and the husband tells her it is ok, then there is no violation at all and no conflict at all.

“That would violate you.” That means they would look down on you and think less of you for your action. But what if they do not and want sexual freedom in the home and they encourage sexual freedom for all then it would not be a problem done in private.

“And do not violate your uncle”  “this would violate your brother. “

But what if it not a problem with your uncle or brother then it is ok. Many men have major jealous problem but not all. Some men it would be ok and no problem.

18 "Do not marry a woman and her sister because they will be rivals.”

****Note from Inkaboutit****

What if they are not rivals, then it is ok. But if they are rival, then it is not ok. Because you do not need this rival going on in the family living. Avoid the conflict. But what if there is no conflict? Then it is ok. “But if your wife dies, then it is all right to marry her sister.”  If she dies, then there is no more rivals problem. If the problem is not there, it is ok to marry them both. The key is avoiding the conflict if there is one, but if there is no conflict then it is ok.

Wife swapping or loaning a wife to another man, is ok if the   men agree. Not adultery, no sin. But if they do not give permission to have sex with their wife, then it is adultery, because it is the violation of the other man’s authority over his owned women. A violation of His property rights over the women he owns.

Also in Bible days, there is no mention about what the women thinks of it. In Bible days, Men have authority over the women. In Bible days, if a man says it is ok to have sex with one of his wives that would not be rape if she disagrees.

Remember apply to first 2 commands to Lev 18. Love God as you’re only God and love your neighbor as yourself.

Ga 5:14 For the whole law can be summed up in this one command: "Love your neighbor as yourself."
