Abraham Gives (Sister)/Wife to 2 Kings

Abraham married  his Sister, Sarai (Sarah).

Abraham gave his (Sister)/ wife, Sarah, up to have sex with another king, 2

different  times, that was not sin, But God stepped in and used it to help

Abraham gain more wealth. Abraham sold his wife to these kings. What was

bad about it  was it was “permanent” sale not just a “loaner”. God stepped in

to reverse  the “permanent” sale part of it and Abraham got to keep the things

and got  his wife back on top of it. 2 different times this same thing happen.

Both times  God greatly blessed them for it.

Genesis 12:1-3

1 The LORD had said to Abram, "Leave your country, your people and your father's household and go to the land I will show you.

2 "I will make you into a great nation and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing.

3 I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you."

Ex 21:4 was one man loaning  one of his wives to another man  as a loaner, not as a permanent sale, as a marriage would have been. The servant was single and after he had lots of sex with the master wife she was returned back to the master and the servant left a single man.( If he was married he would have left with his wife and children)  Never married the master wife because the master never divorce her. Only loaned her to him for sex and to live with him as a live in lover would have to a single unmarried man.

------ nearlyfooled   -----------Where does the Bible say "Abraham GAVE UP his wife 2 different times"?  It doesn't .

******Inkaboutit reply ******You are wrong again. It does. Before you call people names you should check out the Bible for yourself. Because others can see your ignorance.

The event happen three times (Gen 12, Gen 20 and Gen 26) two times with Abraham and one time with Isaac. Both men told the similar  story and both men  were greatly blessed.

------ nearlyfooled   -----------It says she was TAKEN into Pharoah's house and TAKEN by Abimelech. Stop twisting the scripture!

******Inkaboutit reply ******You are twisting scripture or you just have a great misunderstanding of it.  2 times, one time Pharoah took her and the other time Abimelech took her. Both times Abraham greatly benefited for letting these men take his wife from him. Read the verse below clearly shows that.

------ nearlyfooled   -----------Where does the Bible say "Abraham sold Sarah"? It doesn't.  More lies!

******Inkaboutit reply ******No lie. Just your ignorances how things were done in the Bible days. In that day they sold there women. Men paid for there women. Sometimes They make a promise to give payment and then get the payment to the person at a later date. . They don’t always have full payment at the time they take the women. The payment may come at a later date as you see in the verses above.

------ nearlyfooled   -----------Where does the Bible say "This was not a loan but a permanent wife sale arrangement"? It doesn't. Stop adding to the Word. You mislead God's lambs.

******Inkaboutit reply ******Again you show ignorance of the Bible culture. I was compare this to Ex 21:4 where that was a temporary loan where in this case it was a sale and marriage to kings. Again you need to understand the culture of the Bible days to understand what is going on there. Ignorance of the culture will cause you to come up with wrong conclusions,  which becomes false teaching for generations, caused  by ignorances.

------ nearlyfooled   -----------Where does the Bible say "God blessed Abraham for giving up his wife to another man"? It doesn't.

******Inkaboutit reply ******If he never gave up his wife, he would not have received all those gifts from the kings and God also greatly blessed him. Also because God  had to step in and do a miracle the king knew that the all powerful God was on Abraham and Iscca side and the kings feared them AND GREATLY REPECTED THEM FOR IT. None of that would have happen unless they were willing to give up there wife to the king. They could have fought them and been all killed, but instead they gave up their wife and were greatly blessed by the king and by God.

------ nearlyfooled   -----------The LORD shall straighten out your tongue in the lake of fire. Stop wasting everone's time with your deceitful misuse of God's word. Stop putting words into God's mouth to justify yourself.

******Inkaboutit reply ******You are just a name caller just like the Pharisees and saducess called names at Jesus. They told Jesus that he was of the devil and put him on the cross. Jesus was truth of God. They were closed minded and thought they had all truth all ready, generations of lies and traditions of men and were in bondage to all there man made rules and man made tradition.

There closed mind could not see truth. Jesus told them in Matt 23 that there father was the devil. They were name caller just like you.  If you had power like they had you also would burn people at the stake and put them on the cross. With your closed mind you can not see truth just like the Pharisees could not see truth. Maybe the Pharisees should have changed there name to “nearlyfooled”

Genesis 12: 11 - 20

11 As he was approaching the borders of Egypt, Abram said to Sarai, "You are a

very beautiful woman. 12 When the Egyptians see you, they will say, 'This is his wife.

Let's kill him; then we can have her!' 13 But if you say you are my sister, then the

Egyptians will treat me well because of their interest in you, and they will

spare my life."

14 And sure enough, when they arrived in Egypt, everyone spoke of her beauty. 15 When the palace officials saw her, they sang her praises to their king, the pharaoh, and she was

taken into his harem. 16 Then Pharaoh gave Abram many gifts because

of her – sheep, cattle, donkeys, male and female servants, and camels.

17 But the LORD sent a terrible plague upon Pharaoh's household because of Sarai, Abram's wife.

(Note from Inkaboutit---This was a “permanent” sale of Sarai to the King not just a

“loaner” sex partner. God had special promises to Abram and Sarai they had to stay

husband and wife to fulfill that special promise from God to them. In Ex 21:4 master

loaning his one of his  wives to one of his servant was a temporary loan (if he

leaves he has to return her and all her children back to the master) to live with and

meet sexual needs. They did not have the “special promise” from God to them like

Abram and Sarai had.---)

18 So Pharaoh called for Abram and accused him sharply. "What is this you have done to me?" he demanded. "Why didn't you tell me she was your wife? 19 Why were you willing to let me marry her, saying she was your sister? Here is your wife! Take her and be gone!" 20 Pharaoh then sent them out of the country under armed escort – Abram and his wife, with all their household and belongings.

(Note from Inkaboutit---Sarai was Abram’s sister. Incest.  Abram married his

sister. Gen 20: 12 see Below)

Genesis 20: 1 - 18

1 Now Abraham moved south to the Negev and settled for a while between Kadesh and Shur at a place called Gerar. 2 Abraham told people there that his wife, Sarah, was his sister. So King Abimelech sent for her and had her brought to him at his palace.

3 But one night God came to Abimelech in a dream and told him, "You are a dead man, for that woman you took is married."

4 But Abimelech had not slept with her yet, so he said, "Lord, will you kill an innocent man? 5 Abraham told me, 'She is my sister,' and she herself said, 'Yes, he is my brother.' I acted in complete innocence!" 6 "Yes, I know you are innocent," God replied. "That is why I kept you from sinning against me; I did not let you touch her. 7 Now return her to her husband, and he will pray for you, for he is a prophet. Then you will live. But if you don't return her to him, you can be sure that you and your entire household will die."

8 Abimelech got up early the next morning and hastily called a meeting of all his servants. When he told them what had happened, great fear swept through the crowd. 9 Then Abimelech called for Abraham. "What is this you have done to us?" he demanded. "What have I done to you that deserves treatment like this, making me and my kingdom guilty of this great sin? This kind of thing should not be done! 10 Why have you done this to us?" 11 "Well," Abraham said, "I figured this to be a godless place. I thought, 'They will want my wife and will kill me to get her.'

12 Besides, she is my sister – we both have the

same father, though different mothers – and I

married her.

(Inkaboutit note—INCEST God is pro-incest. At creation it

clearly shows that God is very pro-incest. It is a people hang

up, not a God hang up. At creation God make all animals and

humans “one male and one female”, By doing this God is

forcing all animals and humans to have incest by God prefect

and Holy design.

Gen 1:31 NLT “Then God looked over all he had made, and he

saw that it was excellent in every way.”

This includes INCEST per God’s perfect design.

Also, incest was part of God plan to populate the earth. Especially at creation and after Noah’s Ark. Both time to use incest to populate the earth.  Because God make all animals and all humans "one male, one female" then God had to ordain incest for both animals and humans to populate the earth, also plants, 100% of creation. It could not be done without incest. Conclusion,  that incest was an needed and  important  part of God’s desire and God’s plan. We see this today daily.

Also the “Ultimate Incest Couple” is Adam and Eve. God made Eve from Adam’s rib. God make all animals “one male, one female” from dirt. God made Adam from Dirt. But Eve from Adam.  Both had identical DNA, an  identical DNA clone, an identical twin with same identical DNA, but God only changed the sex of the identical twin, clone. This is the closest  in DNA a couple can be, more  than any other incest couple anywhere, for all times. “God hand made Ultimate Incest Couple”.)

God Never Changes.

Gen 1:31 NLT “Then God looked over all he had made, and he

saw that it was excellent in every way.”

"Whatever is good and perfect comes to us from God above, who created all heaven's lights. Unlike them, He never changes or casts shifting shadows" (James 1:17).

Psalm 33:11 states, "The Lord's plans stand firm forever; His intentions can never be shaken."

"We are God's masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so that we can do the good things He planned for us long ago" (Ephesians 2:10).

Psalm 18:30 states, "As for God, His way is perfect. All the Lord's promises prove true."

Isaiah 40:8 states, "The grass withers, and the flowers fade, but the word of our God stands forever"

13 When God sent me to travel far from my father's home, I told her, 'Wherever we go, have the kindness to say that you are my sister.'"

14 Then Abimelech took sheep and oxen and servants – both men and women – and gave them to Abraham, and he returned his wife, Sarah, to him.

15 "Look over my kingdom, and choose a place where you would like to live," Abimelech told him.

16 Then he turned to Sarah. "Look," he said, "I am giving your 'brother' a thousand pieces of silver F64 to compensate for any embarrassment I may have caused you. This will settle any claim against me in this matter."

17 Then Abraham prayed to God, and God healed Abimelech, his wife, and the other women of the household, so they could have children.

18 For the LORD had stricken all the women with infertility as a warning to Abimelech for having taken Abraham's wife.

Genesis 26: 1 - 35

1 Now a severe famine struck the land, as had happened before in Abraham's time. So Isaac moved to Gerar, where Abimelech, king of the Philistines, lived.

2 The LORD appeared to him there and said, "Do not go to Egypt.

3 Do as I say, and stay here in this land. If you do, I will be with you and bless you. I will give all this land to you and your descendants, just as I solemnly promised Abraham, your father.

4 I will cause your descendants to become as numerous as the stars, and I will give them all these lands. And through your descendants all the nations of the earth will be blessed.

5 I will do this because Abraham listened to me and obeyed all my

requirements, commands, regulations, and laws."

6 So Isaac stayed in Gerar.

7 And when the men there asked him about Rebekah, he said, "She is my sister." He

was afraid to admit that she was his wife. He thought they would kill him to get her,

because she was very beautiful. 8 But some time later, Abimelech, king of the Philistines,

looked out a window and saw Isaac fondling Rebekah.

9 Abimelech called for Isaac and exclaimed, "She is obviously your wife!

Why did you say she was your sister?"

"Because I was afraid someone would kill me to get her from me,"

Isaac replied. 10 "How could you treat us this way!" Abimelech exclaimed. "Someone might have taken your wife and slept with her, and you would have made us guilty of great sin." 11 Then Abimelech made a public proclamation: "Anyone who harms this man or his wife will die!"

12 That year Isaac's crops were tremendous! He harvested a hundred times more grain than he planted, for the LORD blessed him.

13 He became a rich man, and his wealth only continued to grow. 14 He acquired large flocks of sheep and goats, great herds of cattle, and many servants. Soon the Philistines became jealous of him,

15 and they filled up all of Isaac's wells with earth. These were the wells that had been dug by the servants of his father, Abraham. 16 And Abimelech asked Isaac to leave the country.

"Go somewhere else," he said, "for you have become too rich and powerful for us."

17 So Isaac moved to the Gerar Valley and lived there instead.

1 for he said, "At last the LORD has made room for us, and we will be able to thrive." 23 From there Isaac moved to Beersheba, 24 where the LORD appeared to him on the night of his arrival. "I am the God of your father, Abraham," he said. "Do not be afraid, for I am with you and will bless you. I will give you many descendants, and they will become a great nation. I will do this because of my promise to Abraham, my servant."

34 At the age of forty, Esau married a young woman named Judith, the daughter of Beeri the Hittite. He also married Basemath, the daughter of Elon the Hittite.

God Never Changes

God's unchanging purpose gives you eternal significance. Psalm 33:11

Psalm 33:11 states, "The Lord's plans stand firm forever; His intentions can never be shaken." God's plan is unchangeable. It existed at the beginning of creation and remains the same today. And you are part of His plan! Paul explains, "We are God's masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so that we can do the good things He planned for us long ago" (Ephesians 2:10).

"Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever" (Hebrews 13:8).

Psalm 18:30 states, "As for God, His way is perfect. All the Lord's promises prove true."

"The grass withers, and the flowers fade, but the word of our God stands forever" (Isaiah 40:8).

Genesis 12:1-3

2 "I will make you into a great nation and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing.
